9. Is FFI a good BRI alternative?
Does Foundation Financial, Inc. (FFI) offer a reasonable alternative to mutual funds, index funds and ETFs for Christians to achieve both their values and their performance objectives? We think the answer is yes. FFI costs are low and our back office strategic partner can economically process separate accounts with $50,000 or a little less. A key consideration is transaction costs, which retard performance. The estimated transactions cost for Foundation Financial portfolios with 24 or 28 stocks is likely to be less than 1% annually for a $50,000 account. Thus, the total cost of investing through Foundation Financial as an investment adviser/manager is similar to or a little less than the 2-3% annual cost of paying an investment adviser to select and oversee mutual fund managers. Foundation Financial wants to help both large and small investors align their investments with their biblical values by providing reasonable cost SMAs.
